Welcome to the Direct Works Forum
Having been founded in 1998, the Direct Works Forum is now firmly established as the representative body for Housing Associations and RSLs employing their own trades staff to undertake repairs and maintenance. We now have over 80 members managing over 350,000 properties and being fully supported by both the Housing Corporation and National Housing Federation. The Forum represents the ideal vehicle for maintenance professionals to meet, network and share experience and innovation.
Seminars are held quarterly in Peterborough where prominent speakers are engaged to address issues of the day related to building maintenance.
The organisation is non profit making and from its annual subscriptions, awards three prestigious Apprentice Awards each year to 1st, 2nd and 3rd year apprentices employed by members.
We are confident that you will find membership of the DWF a useful platform for your organisation in a period of immense change in the social housing sectors.
